Letters from the Unhealed
A page for your ache, your silence, your survival.
There are things you couldn’t say when it happened.
Things no one asked.
Things you never wrote because you didn’t think anyone would read them.
But this page is for you.
You don’t need to explain.
You don’t need to sound healed.
You only need to be honest.
Use these prompts to write a letter to:
The one who left without asking where it hurt
The version of yourself that never got closure
The person you could’ve loved, if they’d only stayed
Or… to yourself—because no one else stayed long enough to witness it all…Begin with one of these… or your own:
“I never told you what it cost me to survive you…”
“If you had just asked me once—where it hurt—I would’ve stayed.”
“This is for the softness I buried so no one could break it again.”
“I loved you quietly. But the silence broke me loudest.”
“You never really knew me. But I carry pieces of you everywhere.”
